"Paradise found"

The best place to stay in Kato Zakros, with a wonderful view, extremely warm welcome and care, and lovely apartments. Great choice of restaurants within few mins walk. Perfect starting point for walking trips. Cannot wait to come back.

We were warmly welcomed again by George the owner who showed us around the incredibly clean and well-equipped studio. He also gave us some delicious homemade cake before leaving us to settle in. The accommodation has stunning views of the bay and Gorge of the Dead. Our studio had a lovely large terrace which was really peaceful and we spent many hours just enjoying the view. During our 7 days there we visited Xerokampos beach and sampled the local restaurants at Kato Zakros, before moving onto Kouremenos for the rest of our holiday. We are planning another trip next year and I’m sure that we will go back to the Kato Zakros Palace Apartments for the fifth time as we had such a good time there.
