14 on Marine

I've got a company that I booked on 2nd to the 3rd of February and you canceled my booking and I had to re booked my stay at the at Marine 14 at higher price 900 rand ZAR. I'm still waiting for refund from you.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean.

Property was under renovation, so looking a bit unkept is understandable but the security and overall look of the property was a concern. There is not security guard or closed doors during the day. Anyone can walk in and walk past the reception. The receptionist is behind thick bars but customers are expected to stay in the place without any locked doors or security. There was a "security guard" at night. He was very friendly but did not look professional at all. I seemed to be the only person staying in the place. Also no aircon and a squeaky fan. Also no phone in the hotel rooms and the number to call is for the hotel next door. So not sure what one would do in an unsafe situation.

Cockroaches are a problem, they do not want to fumigate, I've been complaining ever since I booked in this establishment
