Stelios Residence Apartments

Great place with a fantastic atmosphere. Top location, 5 min walking to everything you need, supermarkets, gift shops, restaurants. Very nice and helpful hosts. We had a great time in Malia, a highly recommended place to stay!

Everything was good

We enjoyed our stay and location and two staff were nice throughout our week. The whole hotel was clean, the food was great and the pool was nice.

Unfortunately being forced to leave the hotel after we had checked out was upsetting. We then were stuck in the middle of the town before waiting for our evening taxi to the airport.

Highly recommend, clean, excellent location and family run. Staff very helpful and friendly.

George was extremely helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable. He also gave a lot of recommendations for local food, beaches etc.

It was in a lovely location so close to all the restaurants in the old town. A lovely size pool however due to current circumstances the bar was closed the week of our stay however this suited us perfectly and didn’t hinder our experience whatsoever. The rooms were very comfortable. What stood out most about this property was the staff, I’ve never stayed anywhere with more helpful staff than here. As soon as we arrived George informed us due to availability he had upgraded our room free of charge, we were provided with a list of information and recommendations on malia and on our 2nd day George offered us late check out free of charge due to our flight time. For the rest of the week all our dealing were with Lida, she was so helpful and attentive to us, offering us a change of room to the ground floor if we needed when she notice my partners broken foot. However we managed perfectly fine with our original room. Lida did a wonderful job cleaning our room frequently and she genuinely couldn’t have been more helpful if she tried. The air con and hairdryer were both very good which isn’t normally the case for accommodations at this price point. We genuinely didn’t have a single complaint about our stay here and if we’re ever lucky enough to come back to Malia we will definitely be returning to Stelios.

Nothing. It was all perfect

Stayed at this hostel and had a great experience. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a relief. The place is run by a very friendly and approachable family. On the first day, the owner took the time to recommend places worth visiting, and they were always available for any questions. The pool, ranging from 1m to 2.5m in depth, is jump-friendly. Additionally, the location is an excellent base for exploring Crete since it's close to the highway, yet without any noise disturbance. Highly recommend!
