Lovely little aparthotel with lovely,kind and helpful staff. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable with two types of pillows to choose from. It's self check in after 4 pm. The rooms come with a large fridge, sink and microwave in a kitchen like area. There is also a hairdryer in the bathroom. We also adored the little touches of this place, like the small free breakfast bar and the little basket of hair ties and umbrellas for guests. Bottles of water and toilet paper are left at our door by the house maid every day, which we really appreciate.

The only downside really to Jiang Mai 81 is that there is no elevator. We were lucky to be staying on the first floor, but those who have luggage would have to track up flights of stairs. There was also a smell from the sink in the bathroom.

Very nice mountain views from both the front and the back of the room, great facilities and got Netflix and YouTube on the tv

Location is convenient, on a strip with a bunch of other hostels Bedding was clean Lady who handles housekeeping is very enthusiastic

Room 1 does not have a view and only a partial window in the bedroom. It felt claustrophobic to me. I would not recommend this room Towels did not look or smell fresh Host did not send me the check in code for the door before arrival. This should be done right after booking and also host should confirm receipt of the info from the guest Wifi and cctv were not always working Two 500 ml water bottles are included, I would add access to a water cooler downstairs or option to buy additional bottled waters in house Problems were met with excuses or denial

Lack of elevator with 4th floor and two suitcases wasn’t comfortable

Great directions to the property. We were received kindly by a lady who is in the building for the day and care takes. The room was spacious and had all we needed. The beds were comfy.

The bathroom had mould and all taps were working but not fixed. The kitchen provisions (cutlery/crockery) were very sparse. The location compared to other areas in 'old' Chiang Mai is not fantastic but at walkable distance.
