Porto Platanias Village Resort

The hotel is in a great location – in a quieter village, yet very close to Chania, so it was easy to explore the area. We really enjoyed the pool area, which was very nice and surrounded by lots of beautiful flowers and greenery. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, so there was always something to choose from. Overall, it was a peaceful and pleasant stay.

It really only makes sense if you choose the all-inclusive option – otherwise almost everything comes with an extra charge. The bed was very worn and uncomfortable, and the room itself felt quite basic. Breakfast, although plentiful, was exactly the same every day. The staff also seemed very strict about all the rules, which made the atmosphere less relaxed.

The location of the hotel is in down town of Platanias. The breakfast was okay, but it was always the same. The room was clean.

The hotel swimming pool is absolutely not clean. I cannot believe how people can go inside this pool. It wasn't clean at all. There are not enough loopholes around the pool. Our room was in the blind area and it was dark. We wanted to change it but they didn't accept. It is absolutely not a 4 or 5 star hotel. How do they call them so, I dont get it.

Grosse déception car nous avions deux adolescents qui se sont ennuyés car nous étions venus pour une ambiance club ,un accès au toboggan même en demi pension ,on nous annonce un tarif de 15 e par jour par personne a payer en plus .Ce n était pas précisé clairement lors de la réservation que c était gratuit uniquement pour les all inclusives!Les boissons sont aussi payantes pour le repas du soir.Cela fait beaucoup de frais à rajouter en supplément en plus du prix de la chambre. Au lieu de cela aucune ambiance ,aucune animation ni activités incluses dans le Club qui se dit Village ,nous avons croisé un animateur seulement en une semaine qui fait aquagym. Comme il n y a rien les transats sont pris d’assauts dès le matin autour de la piscine par des personnes qui passent la journée à la piscine On nous indique au bout de quelques jours que les activités attendues (pétanque…)sont dans l’autre club qui appartient au groupe (plus huppé apparement ),le Platania resort et spa. En résumé ,nous regrettons ce choix car c’est trop cher pour le service proposé ,il y a d’autres hôtels moins chers dans le quartier… Cet hôtel ne mérite pas toutes ces étoiles,car les services proposes ne sont pas à la hauteur du prix .
