Elma's Dream Apartments & Villas

Well-equipped apartments that are cleaned daily and have all the facilities our family needed. Location was fantastic (close to great beaches, shops etc) and the owners are very personable and are always on hand for any local tips, taxi booking and they make all the tasty food!

There really were no negatives for us.

There could be a set of draws in the living room for people that stay on the sofa bed

Andreas and family fantastic hosts so obliging. Lovely clean comfortable apartment. Beds made daily and towels changed. Small Kitchen if you want to cook. We ate out, Sterna nearby lovely and Andreas cooking lovely too. Lots of restaurants in Chania a quick bus ride away. Beach a 2 min walk which is beautiful. Sun beds available or shade under a tree. Anderas gave the use of paddle boards too. We hired a car for two days and visited nearby beaches.

A lamp in sitting area would be nice for evening time as lights bright.

Andreas is the perfect host. He is always friendly, customer focussed and really treats you as a guest. Next to that he is excellent cook and if you are staying at Elma's make sure you have dinner there one evening as well. The apartment is super clean, the beds are extremely comfortable and of course we must not forget to mention the co-host of Elma's: Rocky the dog. Thank you so much Andreas for making us feel so at home we will back ;-) Efcharisto poli!

Nothing, it is a wonderful holiday destination

The complex of apartments was very close to lovely beaches. There were plenty of decent restaurants locally and a good bus service to take you into Chania if desired. There were also three good supermarkets within walking distance so catering in the apartment was easy too. The beds here were amazingly comfortable, with feather pillows. There was aircon in both rooms and shutters to keep the room cool during the heat of the day. Cleaning and sheet changing was excellent and towels provided for the beach a great convenience. Finally the double lined frozen beer glasses were a great innovation. Kept the excellent local beer cold in the heat.

The pool area has little space for sun beds. Renting sunbeds at the beach was very expensive. €15 for two beds and sunshade. This is costly if you go every day.
