La Posada Pacifica

The room was fantastic. Very clean and stayed cool even without the AC. Opening the doors to the balcony to let the breeze in was great. Very lush outside the window, even in dry season. The staff were friendly and gave me a lot of information about restaurants, buses, the beaches and the botanical garden.

Lots of noise some evenings between neighbours partying and playing super loud music, or motorcycles and atvs driving by also playing impossibly loud music. I think it's a common issue in this town on weekends. The roosters and dogs next door will wake you up in the morning, even with earplugs. None of this is the fault of the hotel, but keep it in mind.

We liked the overall location immersed in nature, the balcony, comfortable beds, good a/c, rain shower, kitchen facilities.

We liked everything about the property. Something that is beyond the properties control is the neighbouring very loud barking dogs all through the night. We’re from Canada & not acclimatized to this, as repetitive loud barking dogs are against the law (bylaw) as it’s considered disruptive to others. There was some construction noise from across the river also but construction noise seems to be common in Mexico. Not as peaceful in terms of external noise as we had hoped for given the location.

It was a long walk from where we had to park to the room. I thought we would be able to drop the bags off at the hotel but it wasn't like that. It was across a foot path which was very unique and scenic and the host carried our bags for us. So in the end it was fine but a little unexpected.

Antoine was very kind and helpful. The manager gave me an extra fan when I asked for it which was wonderful.

The neighbors have barking dogs and they don’t attempt to keep them quiet. It was too much noise for me.

Spacious, well equipped apartment overlooking the river in a quiet area. Hosts were great, helpful, and attentive that live on the property. Hiking trail to Playa Animas runs right by the front. Would definitely stay again!

La tranquillité !!! Le calme, le charme de l’appartement , la vue.

L’accès est un peu compliqué (on passe sur un petit pont étroit de 3 planches posé sur des sacs de sable donc acces restreint pour grosse valises étc…) les chiens un peu trop présents autour de l’hôtel.
