If you are looking for quiet and a little secluded this is it 20 minutes from PV by bus you have the ability to do so. The quaint fishing village is fun and friendly. Your host is great and will accommodate you in anything you need We spent 35 days there and could have stay another 35 but alas had to get home

The property Listing could maybe mention that they are across a river and you have to walk across a rustic wooden plank bridge to get there. No one offered my meet me at the random parking lot that my Uber and I had to find (better specific directions would help). It would have been nice to have someone help with the bags and show me where the place was. Also the lock on the room door didn't work from the inside and the patio doors definitely don't lock. When a place charges the amount that these guys do, you would expect the services and facility to step it up a bit. Definitely feeling like this place (and others in the vicinity) are gouging the tourists. This will inevitably work against them in the long run and probably sooner than they think.

Clean, spacious, kitchen

You have to walk across a plank bridge over the river to access the property and then climb stairs. It might be a challenge for anyone with balance or mobility issues.

Nothing.

The property's location is great. It is on a nice part of the river. The balcony and the view is nice. The owner is nice and helped us resolve a few issues we had with the apartment.

The apartment was not very clean. The beds seemed to be very old. The kitchen could have used some more equipment. The description mentioned a common space, but it was quite neglected and some of the amenities mentioned did not exist. The place has a lot of potential, but needs some TLC.

La Posada Pacifica was very comfortable and well appointed for my family of four. The view across the river and overlooking the jungle was wonderful. The bird sound, The evening thunder. The air conditioning worked well and saved us city types from the impossibly high humidity. Clean water. The building caretaker was friendly, without getting in our business. We were very comfortable in our room and slept as well as parents of 5year old's can.

The experience of staying in Boca on the far side of the river is an adventure. It all adds up to make the experience - but be prepared to pack your luggage over a swaying bridge in 99% humidity. It is a working town, not a resort.
