Very friendly staff

Casa Soleil is a few blocks from the tourist area, so it’s not as busy and loud as the main street but you still have great access to everything. The staff was very attentive and always available for any questions!

There were dogs that barked pretty much all the time. If you closed all the doors in the apartment it mostly blocked it out, but you could still hear them.

Clean Good shower

The staff was very friendly. The apartment was clean when we arrived. They changed the towels and linens per request.

The stairs were very unsafe. They did not provide a picture of the building we stayed in, or else I would not have booked it. The stairs only have vertical slats every 2-3 feet. Since we had small children this was very unsafe. Also the windows do not lock. You can easily unlock the front door by sliding the front window open. The back windows are a saftey hazard with no screens or locks. We stayed a week and they didn't do house cleaning, just changed the trash or linens if we requested. We left our ipad in one of the beds when we left. We realized a couple hours later but the staff said they couldn't find it. Disapointing because they were very friendly during our stay.

José was so friendly and so helpful! The accommodation was great but it was really great to feel his hospitality and his honest interest. He went above and beyond. The apartment was nice, spacious and most important, very clean. We highly recommended!

Jose Luis was exceptional and made our stay wonderful. He really went out of the way to show us around including around the town. He helped organize a tour for us as well. The accommodations were great and the hot water was so so great!

The check out time being at 9a was a bummer. But again, Jose Luis went out of his way to let us rinse off and change before our ferry ride.

The accommodation is spacious with a combined kitchen/diner and sitting room next to the bedroom. The beds were good, as were the shower facilities. If like us, you speak little spanish, the owners speak little English, but we got by fine with google translate. We had a late ferry after checkout and I particularly liked the fact we were able to keep the room until our ferry time for only $10.

The accommodation is a little way from the centre and initially a little difficult to find. It is however only a ten minute walk to restaurants etc.
