民宿距离西岸公共码头很近，走路不到十分钟就可以到，周围环境安静优美，有很多好看的花和绿植，晚上也很安静，可以安心睡个好觉。 房东是一家人住在一楼，很热情的款待了我们，每天早上都有好吃且丰盛的早餐，奶奶做的土豆茄子煲味道一绝，真没想到吃到最好吃的埃及菜竟然就在这里，老板也会根据我们的时间准备早饭，非常方便。 二楼是住宿的地方，我们是一行三人，住在一个很宽敞的房间，拥有一张双人床以及三张单人床，非常适合家庭一起旅行，甚至房间里有两个阳台，一个阳台可以看到繁盛的花与绿植，另一个阳台可以看见热气球与历史遗迹，早上打开阳台在上面乘凉非常惬意，同时房间也很干净整洁，我们带的一次性用品完全没有用上。 老板一家真的是很好的人，让我们对卢克索非常改观，如果有机会，真的很想在这里常住一个月。

Elsanosy guest house is a hidden gem on the west side of the Nile in Luxor. We stayed in a large, two-room suite with a kitchenette and washing machine. The location is beautiful - on the edge of town with a view over farm fields to the hills, and the balloons rising in the morning. It is a 10 minute walk from the ferry. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony, and the breakfast was very good. The hostess cooked dinner for us one night, which was delicious. The younger son is a budding businessman and very helpful (and amusing). If you want a peaceful place to stay in Luxor, this is it.

The house is very spacious and clean. Our room had a walking closet and an enormous bathroom. The place is run by a family, our host Yessim, was exceptionally helpful despite his youth. Meals are provided for an extra fee, the food was delicious and varied every day.

It’s a bit secluded and the way to the house can be confusing.

We’d like to thank the Elsanosy family for their hospitality and warm welcome. We stayed at their house for three nights. The house was in a quiet location, away from noisy streets. We used the transfer service provided by the owner, who met us at the airport, which was very convenient. We had a late check-in, but the owner greeted us with welcome drinks, which was amazing after such a long journey. We had a short chat, and he asked if we were interested in any additional services, but he wasn’t pushy. Honestly, I even regretted booking everything in advance and not having free time to take advantage of his offers—they seemed great. The room was clean, and the bathroom was perfect. We were only able to have breakfast once due to our early excursions, but it was unusual and delicious. The transfer back to the airport was also excellent.

The guest house is very spacious, very clean and comfortable. The floors and staircase are beautiful polished granite. Has a traditional Egyptian style design and decor which I liked. Sanitation excellent. Our bedroom was very large with balconies over looking the banana plantations and Theban Hills. The house is situated at the end of a sandy road but only a 10 min walk from ferry. The road is lined with little but tall properties owned by the locals who are all very welcoming. Never felt unsafe walking along it. The location is very peaceful. The West Bank is so much nicer, IMO, to stay . The house is away from the hustle and bustle of the East Bank. The house has a roof terrace overlooking the Theban Hills and Valley of the Kings beyond ! Dreamy in the evening light ! The family are sooo kind, helpful and relaxed . The food is home cooked and tasty. They have a Hotel along the same road which serves superb food n a lovely garden. Owner, Nobi, organised taxis and trips for us. Balloon ride, felucca trip , taxi for 2 and a half days , all for a very reasonable cost . The taxi driver Abdulah was lovely- very polite and warm. No pressure on time. He told us little interesting things about the local culture. Our stay was 7 days but could easily have been 7 weeks as house felt like home.

The guesthouse is located in a quiet area. Breakfast was excellent. Very kind familiy who provides very good service. Roof terrace was great.
