Shater Nubian House

What an experience sleeping in a real Nebian house, on elephantine island in Aswan, friendly people and away from all the hustle and bustle of the city, we recommend it!!!, Thank you for your hospitality, if we are in the area again we will definitely visit again.

The only downside is the WiFi connection, but the owner cannot do much about it given the location and it was no problem for us

The owner was so helpful and spent a long time telling us about the place , he could not of done more to make are stay there any better, only perhaps getting softer mattress but some people may find them OK just a bit hard for me. The location is excellent 2 minutes from the ferry and a shop for food and drinks just around the corner ...I would fully recommend this place to stay... Rob from Australia

I explained to the owner that he needed to put some signs directions from the ferry as it was just a little hard to find, and he said he would address this problem .... Apart from that its the perfect place to sit on the porch and just chill out so very peaceful..

It is awesome the fact of having air conditioning in the room and it is close to the ferry

There was a weird smell on the house The bathroom was not cleaned in the 4 days I was at the house There was no toilet paper The fridge was not working The mattress and pillow covers were not changed because they did not have spares covers... In general the room was a kind of dirty and full of dust

The best guesthouse and host in all of Egypt. I enjoyed everything. Highly recommended!

The area is very peaceful. The owner is very accommodating and helpful. The property is cleaned regularly and things like tea and toilet roll is topped up well! I would recommend this place to stay for anyone especially if your looking for a relaxing sanctuary:)

The bed was good. There is a gas burner cooking facility. The lounge room was comfortable. There was a TV. Washing machine.

Fridge was not plugged in. Lack of crockery and cutlery. No clothes line.
