El Prince Guesthouse

It is in a lovely setting on the island with nice views over the Nile to the botanical gardens and desert beyond. The guys who work there are very kind, and the breakfast is simple but classic and sustaining. The views from the rooftop in particular are great. We share some happy sunrises and sunsets there.

This is a clean place, though perhaps a little rough around the edges. Imagine a clean place run by bedouin and you may have an idea... these guys are Nubian so respect to the culture.

Wonderful guesthouse on Elephantine Island. Amgad and Amir are fantastic hosts really welcoming and helpful. Really made us feel at home. The location is great, wonderful views of the nile from the terrace cafe. Good wifi. Can’t say enough good things. One of my favorite places

The village the guest house was nestled in was very welcoming. The place was colourful and interesting. The staff were all wonderful. An easy walk to the ruins on Elephantine and the Aswan Museum. Boats to get places were easy to find. Ferries were very cheap.

The guest house is on the quiet site of the small island, directly in front of the river, some beautiful wildlife live all around. Only 5 minutes walk to the public ferry. Majid our host was so helpful, he took us in his boat to nearby Kitchener island then to a lovely sandy beach on the river where we swam in the clear water of the Nile, an amazing experience.

El Prince Guesthouse is a real gem on Elephantine Island. We had a large apartment with everything we needed. The staff is extremely friendly, they more than met our expectations and wishes. Took us to the West bank on a boat at 4AM, made boxes with breakfast for us :-) Great location, the island is an amazing place to stay in Aswan.
