It's not good value. For 10$ wifi doesn't even get to the room like we're in 2012. The electric stove is quite useless since there are 2 pot and 1 pan for how many customers. At 10 even if you are quitley playing cards they will cut the lights like a monastery. Too many dogs around

It's a lovely spot, nice vibes but...

It's not clean, there is thousands of fruit flies in the kitchen area and there is no mosquitoe nets on windows in bedrooms so literally a food fest for mosquitoes as there is tonnes of them everywhere. Also there is 1 volunteer who was great but the manager / owner seemed like she didntg want to be there and when I greeted her with a friendly hello in the morning she just brushed it off. I checked out and went to another place that was amazing.

Great location in Mindo town. The hummingbirds were always around the hostel. Make sure you do the humming bird feeding experience if you stay in Mindo!

The bean bags, open-air common area, and bird feeders made this place feel like a serene tree house. Plus, it is in walking distance to restaurants, the bus terminal, and other activities in town. I highly recommend!

The breakfast was nothing to write home about but I was still grateful they offered the option.

Can't beat the location unless you pay twice as much to stay at the Hot Springs.

Howling dog late at night. No one was able to make us a drink at the bar. I'm not sure why. One guy said he didn't know how. The help was a bit clueless overall.

Everything was perfect

Staff very friendly, helpful in booking tours and giving information. The hostel is very modern and clean, and quiet. Kitchen is well equipped. Had a great stay. Lots of hummingbirds and showers were lovely and hot. Free filtered water in the kitchen.

Shared bathroom has 2 toilets and 2 showers only (split into boys and girls). Hostel was quiet and sometimes had to wait so if busy, I could see it being quite annoying. More hooks in private room needed to hang towels, wet clothes from tubing etc.
