Cinnamon House

Really cool place for backpackers. Great value for money. The staff were happy to advise on different trips - I got booked into a night hike the same day I arrived. Quick and easy. Aesthetic and design of the private room was great. Best shower I had all trip (which was much needed with the heavy rain and hiking). Word of warning: I personally love falling asleep to the sound of nature and heavy rain, which was very loud at the hostel I think in part due to the roof; but I appreciate this may not be everyone - although I doubt many accommodations in Mindo can block out these sounds!

No issues for me, though see my word of warning.

Very friendly owners, very chill place, lovely dogs and a cat! I also saw an agouti. Has lockers inside each dorm (some accessible from inside your bed)

Nice staff, nice hostel

There could be more toilets, but wasn't a problem so it's not gonna affect my rating.

It feels really peaceful while also being close to town. The communal space is beautiful and the staff are super helpful and friendly. And there are pets!

My feet where bit cold as you have to take off shoes so it would be great to provide warm slippers

Nice place at the edge of town with a very relaxed atmosphere and spacious common space. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the back garden, where we spent quite some time watching birds. Staff was very friendly and flexible (for example when we came back late from a tour for breakfast). Breakfast was good, too.

The rooms are not exactly sound-proof, but this was not much of a problem (because of the quiet hours from 10 to 8).
