"Wunderschönes Haus, könnte etwas renoviert werden."

Das Haus und die Lage ist wirklich wunderschön. Und das Dinner war fantastisch, die Qualität hervorragend. Mit Kerzenleuchtern aus Silber. Ich hab mich wie eine Prinzessin gefühlt. Das Bett war sehr bequem.

Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und würde hier und da eine Renovierung benötigen. Schade war auch, dass wir Matthew (Besitzer?) in drei Tagen nur ein Mal ganz zu Beginn gesehen haben.

"Lovely peaceful comfortable welcoming place to stay."

Beautiful house surrounded by lovely gardens and close to a very pretty loch. Spacious bedroom and bathroom, huge comfortable bed. Whiskey and welcome tray were a lovely surprise. Peaceful relaxing environment.

Bedroom door did not have a lock/key.

Het is een prachtige omgeving met alleen maar rust om je heen. De host is vriendelijk en stel zijn terrein aan je beschikbaar. De bedden lagen heerlijk, een stuk beter dan alle plekken waar we geweest zijn. In de keuken is het prima qua uitrusting. Een beetje ruimte mis je, maar daar is de ruimte net niet voor. Verder is de keuken wel keurig afgewerkt en hygiënisch. Wat ook erg leuk is, zijn de wandeltochten vlakbij het verblijf. De bergen op klimmen maakte het verblijf tot een nog groter succes!

Mijn man is net geen 2 meter, dit maakt dat hij iets te lang was voor het huisje om geregeld zijn hoofd te stoten. Het ontbijt wat verstrekt word is prima, wel is het jammer dat dit niet automatisch/op initiatief van de host wordt aangevuld per dag wanneer je langer dan 2 nachten daar verblijft. Ook zou een gordijntje voor de deur ingang prettig wezen, we hebben dit nu opgelost met de theedoek die we er voor hebben gehangen.

"An oasis of peace and tranquility"

An oasis of peace and tranquility. Very large room with a comfortable large bed. Beautiful setting with a lovely view over the Loch. Freshly cooked breakfast was lovely and use of drawing room an added bonus.

Nothing really, it is very remote so you definitely need access to a car.

Just not keen on the sharing table at breakfast but that’s our personal preference.
