Clean room, friendly staff, good food

1st impressions when parking in carpark put me off, there is a large,rundown metal extension on the side of the building that needs demolishing. Dont let it put you off.

The room was very comfortable and clean, we had dinner on the evening which was very good and value for money. Staff excellent throughout our stay. Breakfast served to the table and of high quality ingediance.

The appearance on arrival was a bit disconcerting because of the extension building site but don’t be put off.

Everything about the Hotel, the excellent Staff, lovely traditional service, they really make you feel welcome and at home. The rooms are just what you need to relax in, and the Breakfast is really good too

Said it was a Scottish breakfast but it wasn't only Scottish thing was a tattie scone rest was well cooked there was no haggis, no lorne sausage or anything else Scottish

Bar service it closed at 10 o'clock on a Friday have never came across a bar closing so soon especially on a weekend and no pubs near by

Location good. The building needs more work on the outside. Inside was nice. It did smell of cat urine near the door. And the paving slabs were dangerously loose. As you go into the hotel. It was comfortable and clean. The food was lovely. The staff were friendly. It would be nice to have a drinks fridge in the rooms.

Warm welcome, lovely room, good, quiet location. Good choice of menu.

Option of baked beans with breakfast would have been good.

bed was a bit narrow. Mentioned that shower would be safer with a habdrail fitted for getting in/out was told it was being looked into but difficult to get suitable standard
