Great location short walk into town centre but nice and quiet area great parking

The only thing if we were being picky the tv reception in the top floor room not very good but we were not there to watch tv.

The property is very tastefully decorated, warm, comfortable with little extras. ecellent breakfast. Caroline and Nigel are very welcoming.

We stayed the Thursday before Good Friday and we arrived a little early which was no problem. Springdale is located a short walk from the centre of Harrogate on a quiet side road with permit parking provided upon arrival. Caroline and Nigel were the perfect hosts and the property is a credit to both their building skills and design flair. Room 2, situated on the first floor at the front, was spotlessly clean and superbly presented, with a well equipped ensuite with shower and a bath in the bedroom was a lovely touch. Having been to the Turkish Baths the comfortable bed, hot shower and luxurious surroundings were just the ticket to continue our relaxation. After a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast we went on our way with only one reservation... we wish we had booked for longer. Thanks for your hospitality

I prefer curtains to blinds so I can sleep a little longer

Wow what a beautiful place this , stunning home with everything you can think of , chocolate on arrival , wine , soft cuddly dressing gowns real luxurious stay . Nigel and Caroline could not do enough for us during our stay , beautiful breakfast with a free history lesson ! Few minutes walk from the town centre….this place didn’t disappoint in any way !! Even had a Buck’s Fizz for breakfast for an Easter treat …

There is bit one thing not to like

Breakfast was outstanding - full English was so tasty. Full range of options. Was even given a bucks fizz as it was my birthday.

Leaving

Our stay at Springdale was excellent. The house is so beautiful and clean. We only booked a basic room but this was still so thoughtfully laid out. We did have a peek at the bigger rooms which were gorgeous, especially the ones with the roll top baths. Think we will treat ourselves next time and book one of these rooms. The hosts were so welcoming and willing to share their knowledge of the area with us, including the best places to eat.

The breakfast was outstanding. If I hadn’t been at a Conference I would have lingered longer and enjoyed it even more.

Very accommodating, friendly host

Car parking is limited and hit and miss as to whether there is space on the street outside, but this didn’t impact me and can’t be helped.
