The warm welcome, the cosy room, the location and the delicious breakfast!

I paid for my parents to go away for the weekend as it was my dad’s birthday. This was the feedback I got - Caroline and Nigel are perfect hosts they could not do enough. My parents said it was like having 5* treatment - the breakfast was freshly cooked and the choices were quality. My Dad rang me at least 3 times waxing lyrical about it and he is pretty hard to please I must say! My parents have recommended it to me and my wife as well. Great location, great food and superb service. Thank you for making their weekend special.

Excellent cooked breakfast (especially the black pudding) served with fresh locally sourced ingredients. Selection of the usual cereals and choice of warm berry compote . A bonus of a potted history of why Harrogate is here from knowledgeable host Nigel The room was large and comfortable with tea/coffee-making facilities. There was a nice touch of a miniature bottle of red wine with two glasses and a little jar of chocolates.

Immaculately kept Guest House. Lovely couple running it. Couldn't do enough for us and so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again if we are back in Harrogate.

We've had a fantastic time in Harrogate, the house is absolutely stunning and spotless! Caroline and Nigel couldn't do enough for us, from a freshly made multi—course breakfast, to being flexible with check in and out times and then also giving us recommendations and local history. We could tell they take great pride in what they do and they really have thought of everything. The property is on a quite street, the rooms are massive and you get a personal key to let yourself in and out. It's about 5 minutes walk to the bars. I'd recommend them to anybody, can't think of a single complaint.

Beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and comfortable, impeccable attention to detail, such as fresh flowers in the public spaces. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Though we were there only two nights our room was serviced on the second day. Excellent breakfast with a good choice. The little extras, apart from a good range of teas in the room, there were biscuits, chocolates and a small bottle of wine to greet us; also fresh milk, bottled water and cans of cola in a fridge. Fluffy bath robes, excellent shower, his and hers sinks and a big bath in the room for soaking. Great location - only a few minutes walk from the Convention Centre and the centre of Harrogate, which is a lovely town; free parking right outside the guest house was no problem.

The room was spotless and luxurious. The complimentary drinks and snacks were appreciated. Our host was welcoming, friendly and happy to tell us more about Harrogate its history. The breakfast was perfect, with a good range of options, two courses including home made bread and a fantastic Full English. We could not fault our stay and will be recommending it to friends and family.
