Friendly host, small room but has everything you need for a short stay.

Temperature was limited to 20 degrees. Humidity was very high - it felt constantly chilly and was not comfortable. See Pictures.

Great value for money. Great location - more or less equidistant from Bowness and Windermere in terms of walking. Has a bus stop nearby as well for those who can't handle hilly walks (or have lots of luggage to carry!) The facilities were very clean and cosy. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It felt nice to contribute to a locally run and owned business that had roots in the area going back many years. This also gives the owner an edge in terms of local knowledge, which is great for newcomers to the lakes - you'll be in good hands! Overall a really pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend

If you struggle in heat, this may not be the best stay. For me personally, the room got very warm over time and heat would linger even with the heating off. However, if you're someone who gets cold easily this would be a positive! This is a matter of personal preference. I also think the kitchenette left things to be desired for longer stays - only containing a microwave, kettle and toaster (small air fryer was requested and given at discretion of owner). I do appreciate that it may not be feasible to have a full kitchenette with the space available, but I think the rooms may benefit from having more options in terms of food prep.

Very comfortable, had everything I needed and location was great!

Not much really. The place was clean and comfortable, but I did find quite a few dark hairs in bathroom and on the main room floor.

Clean studio. Comfy bed. Refrigerator was a bonus. Great shower. Free parking. We were allowed to park outside the accommodation prior to check-in; as it happened, the room was available before the appointed check-in time, and Martin was very welcoming. Quick walk into Bowness or Windermere; plenty of decent restaurants. A lovely break!

I liked the little kitchenette and basic facilities available for our 1 night stay. I loved how close the property was to the local amenities, and it was nice and quiet. I would definitely book again.
