Darren the host is lovely and very helpful. Nice room with an amazing view! Not the first time we've stayed here and it won't be the last!

The room was old and shabby as was the building both inside and out

Friendly welcome, clean room, tea and coffee provided, decent shower

Mattress had seen better days, bathroom clean but draughty.

Getting woken up at 130am by 2 drunk guys next door but not the staff fault

The location was perfect.The room was spacious and made our stay comfortable with the presence of microwave,fridge and fan heater.The mattress was very comfortable.

The access and exit from the bed was not comfortable.The mattress is set in the recess of the four poster bed frame and unfortunately the mattress is level with the frame.When entering or exiting bed the back of your legs get pressed against the frame.That being said ,once on the bed out was very comfortable. The makeshift attachment to help keep the front door closed scared me as I kept thinking it might spring off and catch me in the face(this makeshift attachment was in place due to the strong winds keep blowing the door open).
