Nothing to dislike

Dirty bedding. Only there for one night, had to get owner to change be sheet as they were soiled!!

It was a beautiful house beautiful furnished quite a fair few stairs for me to climb being having disability’s but I manage one at a time but the host was so good she help carry a lot of things up stairs and once your in your beautiful room pop the telly on cup of hot coffee get ready for bed fine

Your way of describing that the property had plenty of parking but what you don’t say is it’s street parking they don’t actually have parking and that was the bugger because I couldn’t find anywhere to park in Whitby. I went round three streets and into a private car park where you have to pay for it, even if you have a disabled badge everywhere was full of cars even parking on. Orders which are not allowed to do in this country and then I came back to the property where I was and thereby was nothing there so I parked in this little bit that blocked the area to go into these couple of houses and the lady said oh don’t worry too much because they most probably realise it’s somebody staying here becau they normally knock you know well we had nobody knock to move me but when I woke up in the morning there was a penalty charge of £70 stuck to my window which I wasn’t very very happy about at all then I moved into the road to so I could load it with my flashing lights going on which the lady said we do that then you can pack your car up in the meantime, I’m trying to book with you a room because I couldn’t stay there because I would’ve got another parking ticket and I didn’t want that so I wanted to find a hotel that has booking with you know and you knew the things I required things I wanted so I couldn’t get accessible room but I need a floor shower with a double room and paid for it up front then when the confirmation came through it was twin beds with shower over the bath nothing I asked for in my booking already paid of coarse as you know that I won’t book that but you took my bloody money ok by the time I found how to cancel on your so called site which every bugger wants you to do theses days and because you can’t find it easy to cancel can’t phone you it’s email so by the time I got all this to cancel they would give my money back now that’s taking my money under false pretences you can’t see what you’re gonna get till you on your site and you’ve paid my money...

We wanted a location near to the town centre, with good access to all the town facilities, The Hudson a lovely town house with on the street parking, the guest house provided a 2 day permit for £10, we liked the privacy of the guest house, no fuss, amble supply of tea and coffee, on a help yourself basis. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable. Even had two sofa's in. The Hudson was definitely one of the most well presented Guest House on the street.

The room has blinds on the window, however, these failed to keep out early morning light from sunrise, would be both aesthetically pleasing and more practical to have curtains as well. Didn't like the idea of the kettle on the Mantle piece, ample room for a small table/cabinet for storing such items. Especially next to a single bed, as the room could be used as a family bedroom with cots and a single bed, available

Extremely clean comfortable and great value for money for the location.
