First rate! Darren and Sue are two if tge nicest Hosts I have met on my, considerable travels. Nothing was too much trouble. We were travelling on motorcycles and garden items were readily moved to allow bikes to be easily parked and accessible. Sue gave us a lift to Barrow Town centre. Breakfast was very substantial and nicely cooked. We would willingly return on future trips to Barrow in Furness on South Lake District.

The property only has a shared bathroom for four rooms,, however it is ongoing to provide a second. Currently beds are all double but single arrangements will be in place for a future visit.

Excellent hosts, couldn’t do enough for us room was lovely and clean and comfy bed. We will definitely stay there again if we attend next years Dave’s day

I’d asked if we could arrive early, but due to a storm we were held up, the owners were so kind about it. They were helpful and so accommodating. Great place to stay.

A very thoughtful and sympathetically converted church. It was very atmospheric and had some wonderful features. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The room was Immaculate. Very cosy

Room was spacious and comfortable - inc the bed. Great option of shower or roll top bath. Small fridge. Tea and coffee supplies etc. were topped up each day. Lovely open lounging area at the top of the stairs which my daughter loved to sit at to see the sunset each evening.

Some might think the hallway is a little tired - but honestly, everything else I felt was spot on.

This was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed at and the people who owned it where the nicest people you could ever meet, they'd even offered to try pick us up from train station and drop us off if they'd have had time which was incredibly sweet and generous of them. The rooms were so big that even the massive king size bed looked small in comparison, and they actually had blackout curtains which is great. Everything you could need and the hot water was actually hot! And that free standing bath was gorgeous. Honestly, it's the most luxurious place I've ever stopped, with a beautiful home and beautiful scenery. We will be back soon!
