Taldraeth - Old Vicarage Guest House

Mariah was the perfect host. A very knowledgeable lady and super talented. The property is furnished perfectly with very old antiques. The property is only a short drive or 1/2 hr walk along the estuary to Portmeirion village.

The bed was comfortable but could do with being a bit bigger.

Great host beautiful house and room. Wonderful Welsh breakfast. A warm welcome with cake and tea on arrival, full use of garden and village with pubs and takeaways a few minutes walk. We were able to u see plates glasses etc etc for a take away from the Thai (very nice) which we ate outside though the dininging was also available if we wanted to use it. Lots of interesting information provided in room, and she was always happy to chat with guests. Very enjoyable stay.

Nothing comes to mind we stayed over to visit Portmerion the next day which whilst nias a bit disappointing and we'd left within 3 hours having seen everyting.

It was unique guest house stay in a charming home managed by the most hospitable hosts. We felt transported yet the facilities were modern and very comfortable. Not to mention the location is perfect to reach both the coastal side of the peninsula and Snowdonia national park.

I loved that it is a small family run guest house with just 2 rooms. For me, it felt more homey and not crowded like other accommodations. It was the perfect location for the short weekend we spent in North Wales.

Breakfast was delicious. Great host. Accommodation is of an exceptional standard. Enjoyed our stay

Breakfast was absolutely superb each morning. Great choice and left you needing very little more until evening! Location is great as within easy reach of our required days out

Beautiful decor and furnishings. Lovingly restored mansion house. Lovely confirmable bath and modern shower. Nice view of the estuary. Slept like a log. Lovely breakfast.
