Taldraeth - Old Vicarage Guest House

The proprietor’s family have lived in the area for generations. She has lovingly restored the guest house, which is listed, and the interior reflects so much of the unique heritage both of the family and Wales. Mirain’s attention to detail is second to none. She uses local produce so supports the local community. If you are looking to learn a little about North wales but not a heavy history lesson this is a delight. A unique experience.

The breakfast was amazing and probably the best choice we've ever had. The owners were very accommodating and the room had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again if going to that area of Wales

beautiful building and lovely rooms. the place had loads of character. it’s a great spot if you want to explore Portmeirion or Snowdonia. breakfast was excellent. so many choices. while the interior gives an “old fashioned” feel, the bathroom was modern and rooms had tv and wifi.

Beautiful property with views and hospitality to match. The location makes it ideal as a a base to explore; everything is of the highest quality, from fixtures and fittings to the attentive service and the breakfast!

very nice breakfast and big and comfortable room and bathroom. best place for a nice recharge and night of sleep after travelling around Snowdonia.

lovely friendly hosts, great quality breakfast, with local options a lovely touch. very close to Portmeirion, Porthmadog and criccieth
