Absolutely beautiful location with a superb view! The room was very comfortable and spacious and the bathroom with huge walk in shower was enormous! Our hostess Miraine took excellent care of us!

"A pleasant home from home with every need taken care of, right down to a first aid and sewing kit."

Immediately upon on arrival we were greeted and made to feel most welcome with tea and cake. The room had a wonderful view and the most wonderful bathroom with a claw foot bath and huge separate shower.

There really wasn’t anything I could mention that we didn’t like.

We had a lovely time at Taldraeth. We had a lovely welcome with tea and coffee plus homemade cakes. Lovely room which was very spacious. Lots of antique furniture that work really well as the building is full of character. The cooked breakfast was perhaps the best we’ve ever had. Lots of options and cooked to perfection. We would definitely recommend and already planning our next visit.

"A beautiful house in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK..."

A beautiful house in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK. The room was a wonderful size and fantastic views of Snowdonia in one direction and the estuary of the Afon (River) Dwyryd, with more mountains. The amenities (in the room) were excellent. The bathroom was as big as the room (and could have been an additional room for the guest house, had they wanted to do so) with a freestanding and deep bath and a large shower. Plenty of space outside in the large garden with an incredible, natural perfume of roses. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the owner could not be more helpful and polite.

The only very slight niggle (and this is nobody's fault, not even the Romans) is the entrance...I missed it twice. But this was made up for in spades and bucket loads once I got into the house.
