Very nice accomodations in the best location in Oban! We used the restaurant recommendations that the owners provided to eat at two excellent restaurants, one just a few few doors down from the hotel. We also strolled to the castle garden cafe near the hotel for coffee and homemade cc cake, accessible by a lovely path. All that is to say that it wasn't any trouble to find eating options nearby. And just look at the view from our 2nd floor corner room tall clean windows!

We had a lovely stay at the Barriemore, the hosts were very welcoming and gave great advice on where to go for meals. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, well kitted out, the fridge in the room was an unexpected bonus. In fact everything you would need was available as well as beautifully decorated, thank you so much for a lovely stay. Would definitely come back.

Mark and Jan are living next door so will be visible quite a bit to ask questions. A beautiful old Barriemore House, fully restored and beautifully designed rooms with facilities. Perfect location just outside centre but 10 mins walk to centre only. Enough off-street parking available. Great place overall. Well done Mark and Jan.

Self check in not a problem . Good location and excellent parking facilities. Room nice and clean .

Our only difficulty was WIFI access which was a little intermittent but to be fair we only stayed one night and weather was not good so could have just been a blip. . We only booked the previous night and travelled from Inverness to Oban early the following day. We we did receive information regarding booking in via email on the day of travel which I found difficult to access as we were traveling by car there was also a form to complete regarding car details and persons staying which again I found difficult to access and complete. I'm sure it works well generally but with traveling and not having wifi access it was a little difficult for me to complete . Honestly this is not a complaint just a comment that maybe for late bookers like myself a text maybe more helpful
