The view was so lovely!! The 2 easy chairs in front of the window very well placed and we enjoyed reading there. Also thank you for the Sherry!! That was a wonderful touch. Overall was an excellent stay!

I wish there was more of a breakfast option, but I understand due to family dynamics it’s not possible. The brief contact I had with Mark (I think) was so nice, because I love talking by to locals and he was very kind and helpful.

"THE BEST B&B in Oban"

Everything was perfect! The check in was easy because the caring hostesses left the keys for us, a room was spacious and clean, a bathroom was great with a strong water pressure, 20 min walk to the Main Street, we have stayed in 2 other b&bs in Oban before and each of them had some issue, but the Barriemore B&B exceeded our expeditions in all the ways! To the extent that we have already booked it for the next time.

What a lovely stay. Our room was very comfortable and included everything you would need. Including a fridge.The sherry and chocolates were very welcome! We discovered the guest lounge the next day which was really useful. We used the microwave, had our drinks there, read books and borrowed a local map which was really useful. Would highly recommend espe6for the location.

I couldn't have loved this place more. Location was excellent - a short stroll to town and right next to Dunollie castle. The views were spectacular - opposite the bay. We had a suite and it was huge, incredibly clean and lovely decor. The whole place was done beautifully with lovely touches such as a communal area with tea/coffee and sun room. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Plus it was dog friendly, an added bonus.

We loved everything about staying here. The room was exceptionally clean and bright. Decor amazing. So much space and the views were incredible. The whole place has been kitted out in mind of what a person staying would need, the social room, a sun room, bike storage, an area for pets. It's right opposite the beach, next to a walk in the castle woods and a short stroll into town.
