Please note that alcohol is not permitted in the property. The café is open from 10.00 until 18.00 during the week, and from 10.00 until 15.00 at the weekends. It serves gluten and dairy-free meals. Guests arriving after 17:30 are requested to advise the property in advance, using the Special Requests section or the contact details on the Booking Confirmation. Arrivals after 20.00 are subject to a surcharge of GBP 10.

The warm welcome on arrival and friendly, efficient service at breakfast; The beautiful, spacious, well-equipped room and lovely views.

Nothing not to like, but I'd say that breakfast was adequate, whereas all other aspects of the stay were outstanding.

Lovely location, beautiful grounds including lakes to walk around. Friendly staff, easy check in check out. We stayed after a visit to Longleat, its only a 10/15 min drive away. Everything is finished to a high standard with lovely modern cottage feel. Comfortable beds and toiletries in bathroom are great. Good hot and cold breakfast options.

The cafe was nice, but the opening times vary on the website, the booking.com site, the literature in the room and what staff say. So if youre banking on visiting the cafe, I'd be mindful of the times. Very limited choice also, but understandable I guess given location.
