Balmoral Guest House

I booked this last minute due to a family emergency and it really couldn't have been nicer. Cozy, clean, comfortable, safe and close to everything. Tea/coffee facilities in the room, no fussing about check in times unlike most places, great TV channels, lovely comfy bed and beautiful view to people watch out the front in a lovely tub chair...and around the corner from a lovely park, shops and near to transport. The host Andrew also went above and beyond to help and the breakfast looked amazing, although unfortunately I didn't have time to have it. Such a reasonable price for a lovely feeling of home. Lovely vibe and I'd love to go back, perfect place to get some time alone to unwind.

Andrew is very polite and makes sure your comfortable. The staff are brilliant to and very welcoming. Breakfast is lush not to mention great value for money.

Nice period features and spotlessly clean. The weather was miserable when i arrived and the room was nice and warm. Just a short walk to the town centre and easy street parking just round the corner. Good communication after booking and the owners were really friendly. Guest also have access to a small guest kitchen which has a microwave and some plates etc.

Everything was fantastic food and room. For a guest house fantastic. Staff were brilliant nothing I can fault at all.

Honestly cant fault it

Stayed in annex with its own entrance. No need to go through main guest hour & completely private. I was told there was a guest kitchen if I wanted to use it, but I was glad to be away from kitchen for a few days. A big bonus for those who want to use. I do not eat before 11am so did not take breakfast but I understand from other reviews that it is delicious & plentiful. The standard of cleanliness is a credit to the lovely staff.
