Sunnyside Guest House

Excellent location and good parking would definitely stay again

Nikki is a domestic goddess. Homemade sourdough bread, cakes in the guest common room, home made granola etc. Paul makes an exceptional breakfast, plenty of choice and perfectly cooked. On top of running a busy and exceptional guest house, they also raise funds for local charities. I would stay there again if I re-visited the area, without question.

I literally can't say enough good things about the Sunnyside. It is a beautiful property. Unique on the outside and incredibly modern on the inside. Our room was very nice sized and the bathrooms were very good with a great shower. The location was terrific as well. Just a short 5 minute walk to the center of Keswick. WiFi is super strong throughout the entire inn. The best part of our stay were the hosts. Nicki and Paul are just unreal!! They are everywhere all the time without being intrusive. Got a question? They have a slew of answers and recommendations. They really take being a "host" to heart. Sunnyside serves the best breakfasts we have had in our 3 weeks in the UK. No place else has even been close. We also ate dinner at the inn one night and it was fantastic as well. The inn itself is a treat as well. There is a great dining area where meals are served. It is great size and cozy at the same time. My wife and I spent a ton of time in the evenings in the library reading and talking with other guests. The library is as comfortable and homey as a living room in your own home. Also no stay here is complete without some of Nicki's homemade lemon cake!! We have stayed at a dozen places on this trip through the UK so far and the Sunnyside is our favorite by far. Don't hesitate!!! Stay at the Sunnyside on your next trip to Keswick. You will thank me later

Best BnB in Keswick! I’ve been going to Keswick for years and only just discovered this gem. Such a warm welcome and the amenities are second to none. I had the deluxe single room and it had everything you could need and lovely soft towels. The bed was big and super comfy. Loved the lounge and there was cake in there both days I was there. Very central but with its own parking. The breakfast was anmazing and Paul and Nicky were lovely. I loved the honesty bar in the lounge and it was super quiet at night. Can’t wait to go back!
