"Terribly disappointing."

The pub down the road was good.

We booked the suite online and were REALLY excited because the room looked lovely. However, when we got there we were told our room was the much smaller one. The host was ADAMANT we had made a mistake!! The lovely big room was the ONLY reason we booked this place. So we had to suck it up when the other couple eventually turned up much later that evening. The bathroom was tiny, a shower and little cloakroom sink. There’s no breakfast or evening meal and the tea and coffee making facilities were perfunctory at best. Coffee ok but the tea was dreadful. So disappointed. I would’ve thought the hostess might’ve offered us a future date at a concessionary rate. She spoke to my partner downstairs l think, I’d spoken to her on the phone earlier and was terribly disappointed when she said that wasn’t our room. I got the impression she’d come and apologise to me in person - but she didn’t. Not even a token gesture to acknowledge our disappointment on what was a very special Valentine’s Day for us. I heard her welcome the later arrivals but didn’t see her at all.

Everything!!! It had such charm and was cosy and such a beautiful place to stay. Abbie was the most gracious and amazing host. She was so friendly from the moment we arrived and greeted us… and was so accommodating and helpful with any requests. She went above and beyond for us as guests and we will most definitely be back again! Thank you Abbie for everything! You were wonderful! X

Absolutely beautiful house, so much character, the bath was exceptional and the shower was lovely. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a wonderful surprise when coming out of the bath/shower. The hostess was so lovely, tea and coffee and milk provided too! Stunning place and easy to get to Stratford upon avon

Our second stay and this is a wonderful property if you like a quiet, luxurious and historic rural setting, out of the way but close to Warwick and Leamington. Beautifully maintained and renovated. Quality furniture and fittings
