Roseleigh House

Donna and James are fabulous hosts. They helped us plan our outings in the local area, choose restaurants, and shared suggestions for the rest of our trip, up along the Causeway Coastal Road. We enjoyed our two nights at their warm and welcoming B&B. A very convenient 10 minutes from central Belfast - the bus to town stopped just a few meters from the house and passes frequently. The neighborhood is a pretty, tree-lined quarter with cute pubs and restaurants. The Roseleigh has parking (we left our car there for the three days and ubered or bussed around). The breakfasts are cooked to order and very good. Donna even made a special omelette after the usual breakfast hours for my daughter who couldn't make the breakfast time because of online meetings. We loved staying at the Roseleigh and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Belfast.

The owner Donna couldn’t have been more accommodating! I arrived a little frazzled after experiencing problems with my car, which Donna helped me sort out! She was super nice and helpful at every turn! An ideal host! The location was great - near parks and facilities like good restaurants! Tue house itself is se back from a main road in a leafy tranquillity suburb with all the above only 5-10 minutes walk away! The accommodation was comfortable and clean - everything I needed was provided and everything worked!

The breakfast was simple but great! The Irish breakfast that I ordered on the second day was excellent. We also loved Donna and James. They were so friendly and attentive to our needs, and we enjoyed our conversations with them throughout our stay.

Flexibility about check out

Roseleigh House is the perfect place to stay when visiting Belfast. You’re only 15 mins by bus to the city. We visited for the Christmas markets and it couldn’t have been easier to get to and from them using the nearby public transport. The hosts were more than helpful with recommendations for places to eat/drink both locally and on the journey home 😊

A very enjoyable stay at Roseleigh House. The house is beautifully decorated and the room was comfortable. Donna provided lots of helpful advice about buses into the city centre and places to eat locally. She also signposted us to St Georges Market, which was a highlight of our trip (NB Fri, Sat, Sun only).
