Bamford House Hotel

Tiny bathroom. Difficult to manoeuvre in/out of shower.

Clean warm room, had everything I needed

Very small window in room so not a lot of natural light, felt uncomfortable walking to property alone due to its location

Nice comfy bed

The gentleman that checks us in was very friendly. The room was as described and great location for us to explore. large car park close by.

The room during the night got quite hot even though the heating was not on. The TV did not work as the remote required new batteries. We asked the lady as we went out for the Evening if she could fix this for us and she said she would get it sorted. However when we got back the issue had not been resolved.

Location

There was no one on site to greet us or to ask any questions or go to for help or support. No staff at all The room was on the top floor, and the people in the room next to us were shouting and laughing and partying The beds were uncomfortable and the bunk bed was dirty Soon as we went through the front door we smelt a strong smell of "weed" that we then smelt all the way through the property someone was smoking in one of the rooms as long with fag's We didn't stay at the hotel we drove home that night and will not be recommending the hotel to anyone There's no way children can stop there.
