Bamford House Hotel

The girl who checked me in was lovely and very helpful. Room was nice enough.

The area was awful driving up it was all boarded up, I didn’t feel safe leaving my car outside and I was told I was lucky to park otherwise I’d have to pay on one of the big car parks which wasn’t acceptable. The property smelled musky and damp and there was a smell of weed. The WiFi or phone signal didn’t work in my room and as I was there for work was crucial therefore I ended up booking and other property and only staying one of the three nights I had paid for as it wasn’t somewhere I felt comfortable, safe or able to work from.

Smell and mould from shower drain. No clean towels or rooms serviced. Stains on the ceiling. Very loud from other rooms.

The room was clean and comfortable and it was in a good location. The staff were friendly and the owner rung to check if everything was ok with the room.

The kettle was a travel kettle and was really dirty so wasn't able to use it. I had to wait an extra 20 minutes to go to the room as they hadn't finished cleaning it at check in time but I did inform them what time I would be arriving. The bar area wasn't ever open during my stay.

Overall okay TV didn't work Pretty quiet while I was there No complaints.

I couldn't get the tv to work.
