Good, affordable price and owner/host there to meet when I first arrived. Relatively clean & comfortable residence. Good heating. Good correspondence. Good lighting and there was a power extension.

There were a few cobwebs lurking. Shower was difficult enough to adjust and there was no ledge in the shower to set toiletry products. The resident across the hallway was desperately noisy and disruptive. Bed wasn't long enough for me, although was still comfortable.

Not alot to like however the positives would be the Location is walking distance to the city centre and the Washing Machine was useful.

Firstly, The way to lock the front door is far too finicky, the kitchen is unequipped, No cups, cutlery, plates or bowels. Dirty fridge shelves and no allocated fridge space to seperate people’s food. The appliances, counters and floors are all oily and in desperate need of a clean. The bathroom downstairs wasn’t awful, as the toilet was clean however the floors and were filthy. The stairs are dirty, narrow and creek. The upstairs bathroom is the worst, Dirty floors, sink and the toilet was unusable from how filthy it was. The only shower is upstairs and it is covered in soap scum and has a plastic moldy bath mat I would remove before use. The residents that live there are also not friendly.

The location is convenient. Within 3 minutes, you can reach groceries, restaurants, and but stops.

The property's cleanliness needs to improve.

Bed is broken, not suitable to be used for sleep. Pillows are very thin. Other people mistaken the room with the WC, so each time someone is trying to open my room door even late at night. It is difficult to close the main entrance door. Bad instructions from the owner to use the facility. The owner is not present, and you have to call him to get the key.

The location was the only decent thing.

The place was dirty top to bottom. Smelt and looked like an abandoned house. The entrance was littered and overgrown with weeds. Upon entering the door we were met by the smell of gone off food which had been left in the fridge. As far as I'm aware we were the only guests that day as there are 6 rooms and 5 were showing available on booking.com. Throughout was dirty, damp and musky. No TV!! The kick boards were missing didn't want to even look under there. Bathroom's were moldy bath mat filthy. All old mix match furniture. The whole house gave off homeless accommodation. We handed the key back and booked another place for the weekend. Upon requesting a refund we were first refused then offered £60. Communication was poor and we were even blamed for expecting too much.
