The location was very convenient. Roughly 25-30 minutes walking distance to the city centre and public transport was very frequent and easy to understand the routes. We've had a city view from our bedroom. Bedroom size was generous and had an ensuite. Great communication from the private host, check-in, and getting the key was super easy. Very clear instructions from the host as well as contact details provided if we needed any help. Free street parking behind the block and the neighbourhood seemed fairly safe. Also, a massive Asda store just in a few minutes walk away, as well as a food market, which was very nice. It was very quiet for a city location, no noise at night at all. Despite the first impression of the neighbourhood, it felt safe to walk around day and night time.

The whole place was dirty throughout. Our room was dirty, the carpet wasn't hoovered, long black hair on the carpet and shower floor, bedding didn't seem washed as there was hair on the pillows. The ensuite shower was very dirty. I had to start with scrubbing the shower, sink, and toilet as it didn't feel hygienic to use. The toilet had urine strikes all over the bowl and running down to the floor making it sticky 😕As I read previous reviews I packed our own towels which I'm glad I did as they only provided 2 hand towels which we used for shower mat as the shower mat was stained and discusting that I wouldn't step on it. The "double" bed is a small double and very uncomfortable for two people. The kitchen was also dirty, so we didn't use it until check-out morning when I made 2 cups of coffees after scrubbing the 2 mugs I could find.We had to leave early and we didn't have time to go out for b'fast. If they are charging extra money for cleaning fee, the place should be cleaned. It's really a shame because otherwise the host was great in communication and location is very good. Sadly it's nowhere near to an acceptable cleaning standard. I would not stay here again.

It was in a quiet neighbourhood. Good heating, fridge and kitchen facilities (didn’t use it though).

Parking is on-street and at the back. Might be tricky to navigate if you arrive late. Also, pack lightly as you may have trouble navigating from your parked vehicle to your room which might be on the second/third floor, via the stairs (no lift). Asides that, great place!

Where to start? So uncomfortable, bed is either cheap matters or very old, sheets smell like humidity, everything is very dirty, bathrooms looks like someone shat out and spread it on the floor. I don’t know what the “cleaning fee” is for, honestly it looks like s***. I get that the walls from the stairs are dirty because people take their baggage and hit the wall, but the kitchen? The floors? The tables? The mirrors? The shower? It looks like if 3 dirty teenagers live there. They had a sauce from 2024! No kidding! Look at the pictures I uploaded! I honestly would like a refund or at least the “cleaning fee” wtf honestly

It’s close to downtown and an asda. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Some places can be cleaner like the shared bathroom but other than that everything was acceptable.
