Rooms neat and tidy can’t complain shower in room six water pressure not strong enough for it to get hot

Dirty inside and out, the landlord forgot to give me the door code so I was on the street for over 1 1/2 hrs. Turns out residents phoned the landlord to phone me. To gain access. Not happy..Bathroom floor soaking wet, mold on the shower curtain. Curtains didn't fit the room window so light was getting in very early in the mornings 😴 OMG.

My friend and I arrived late in Manchester, and the communication with the accommodation prior was friendly and inviting. We utilized self check-in due to the late hour (almost midnight). However, upon entering our room, we found that the reviews and pictures were misleading. The floors, ceilings, and bathroom were dirty, with mold on the ceilings. The mattress was slashed and slightly damp. It was clear that the bathroom had not been cleaned in a long time. Unable to find alternative accommodation for the night, we reluctantly stayed. We left early the next morning without using any of the unsanitary facilities. I immediately contacted property management to report the condition of the bedroom and bathroom. After being accused of lying about the cleanliness, I reached out to Booking.com customer service. After providing photos to both parties, we agreed to a refund for the second night, which we received a few days later. What shocked me was that customer service acknowledged ongoing issues with this accommodation yet continues their partnership. Overall, while property management handled our complaint civilly after providing pictures, booking.com's customer service was very friendly. However, I cannot recommend this accommodation for the reasons stated above.

I liked that the rooms and kitchen were nice, clean, and well-maintained, and all the facilities we used worked well.

I didn’t like that the city view space/veranda was unkempt and untidy. Additionally, I was upset that we were denied access to the shared lounge, TV area, garden, and patio, which were part of the package we paid for. When we called to inquire, we were told they didn’t have those amenities, but I later saw the cleaner go into the lounge area to change or keep her belongings, which raised concerns about the space being reserved for staff instead of guests.
