Glencarse Hotel

Great location, really friendly, rooms great, shower fantastic, bed a bit too soft for us but would possibly have been ok if it had been king size. Food was excellent in fact best evening meal in a very long time. Breakfast was equally as good and wouldn’t hesitate at staying there again.

Only the softness of the bed, but that’s very much personal choice as some people would love it!

Breakfast was lovely. Staff were incredibly friendly, patient and accommodating. Responses to messages prior to arrival were fast. The shower was also great. Room was exceptionally clean.

Das Glencarse Hotel ist ein kleines Hotel an einer Schnellstraße gelegen und wird privat geführt. Die Zimmer befinden sich wie in einem Motel in einem separaten Gebäude, wodurch wir vom Straßenlärm nichts mitbekommen haben. Das Bad ist modern eingerichtet, alles war sauber. Die Besitzer sind überaus gastfreundlich und auch das Frühstück ist empfehlenswert (unterschiedliche Varianten wählbar). Der Besitzer kocht im Hotelrestaurant selbst und uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch ein Pub ist angeschlossen.

Unser Zimmer (5) war recht dunkel. Leider sind wir auch mit den Matratzen nicht gut klargekommen, da sie wohl in die Jahre gekommen sind, denn man konnte die einzelnen Springfedern spüren. Der Toilettendeckel war zudem nicht richtig befestigt.

Las instalaciones estaban bien y el desayuno que sirven es bueno, aunque tardan muchísimo en servir el desayuno. Contad con una hora para poder desayunar tranquilamente.

No tiene wifi en las habitaciones, eso nos parece un básico. Muy mala cobertura en el lugar. Tardan demasiado tiempo en servir el desayuno aunque seguro que está rico porque tenía buena pinta pero estuvimos sentados más de media hora esperando a que nos sirvieran.
