Guest House Kusika

Lovely hotel and perfect location in Sighnaghi. Our room had an amazing view over the valley, with a large patio, sunbeds and a tub to enjoy the view (inside). Bathroom was large and spacious. Hotel staff (and restaurant staff) was accommodating and polite.

The drain in the shower was very slow, so you had to stand in an inch of water constantly. A bit pricey, but that depends on the type of room you get I suppose.

The guest house had a beautiful terrace and great location just off the main historic street.

It was hard to find

The location of the hotel is perfect and the restaurant is nice. The staff is friendly.

Our rooms wasn’t very clean (e.g. a lot of spiderwebs in de bathroom), the shower drain was clogged, there was no curtain or door for the shower and the shower was very hard so the whole bathroom became soaked. The airco didn’t work properly and the room smelled a bit like smoke. Also, the pool seemed the cleanest.

Location is very nice. The pool is a nice extra. Room was also fine.

There was no parking available even though booking said so... we had to find a paid parking because in the street it was too full. It was a bit chaotic, it did not feel very warm. The pool was nice, but its right in front of the terrace, so you dont feel very comfortable swimming there with everyone watching.

The view, the friendliness of Ilia and the city itselve were better than expected!

The hallway to our room smelled a little bit

The location is good as you can walk most places in Sighnagi. The pool is great and we enjoyed a morning swim in it. The bedroom and bathroom was clean.

The restaurant at Kusika is very busy and loud during the day. You can hear the music playing in the guest house room as if the speaker is right there. It is quieter in the morning and night. The view from the windows straight out to the restaurant balcony so it didn’t feel very private at all. Also the hosts didn’t really interact with us, we didn’t know how to use the laundry or the communal kitchen (we couldn’t see where it was) and the hosts were not around to ask after giving us the key on day one. It’s less of a guest house and more of a room in a restaurant so depends what you are after.
