Old Street and Mari the host, is a great place to stay and explore Akhaltsikhe and all the sights nearby. We had a super comfortable and spacious room, ate an amazing breakfast in the garden, and really appreciated the help from Mari in arranging transport for us to see Vardzia and other castles along the way, as well as to our next city of Kutaisi. She is a great help, very professional, speaks perfect english and is just super nice :) The guesthouse is located right underneath the fortress, with many restaurants nearby. We highly recommend coming here to spend a couple of nights, to really appreciate this lovely little city and the many exiting places nearby.

Breakfast in the garden was delicious. The location is perfect, close to the fortress, everything is within walking distance. Nice views from the cosy balcony.

It was excellent value for money. It was accurately described, and They were up front about the shared bathroom. overall a good experience

The mattresses and bedding were a little old, and the walls were a little thin.

A comfortable guest house well located right next to Rabati Castle and near the centre of town. Nice large room and Marie the owner speaks good English and is very friendly. She even welcomed us with two glasses of wine. For the price it’s brilliant!

Nothing really

The location cannot be beat. You are in the old town, but just a street from the new part. The additional breakfast was massive and delicious. It was way more than the two of us could eat. They arranged a taxi driver to take us to Sapara Monastery and then to Vardzia for a very good rate.
