Breakfast excellent, lots of choice and beautifully cooked. Spotless, comfortable accomodation and friendly helpful host. Mel and her very polite grandsons offered ice lollies and drinks to keep us cool in their garden.

The weather was extremely hot, and with the bedroom being in full afternoon/evening sun it was unbearable. A fan would maybe have helped but I do understand that it was unusual heat during our stay and the fan wouldn't be needed often.

Room (Teal) was very spacious. Loved the added touch of a cake & a bottle of fresh milk in the room fridge. Bed was very comfy & didn't have to strain to watch TV! Excellent choice of breakfast.

No option to iron clothes, bottled water in fridge was only sparkling, but still a nice added touch.

Beautiful location, in the countryside but close enough to go and explore the local area. Mel was a great host. Breakfast was delicious and the b and b well looked after clean and welcoming

Top quality (5 star) accommodation with delicious breakfast set on beautiful grounds in a spectacular scenic location away from the tourist throngs and commercialism of the Lake District. Owners Mel and Tom are friendly and helpful hosts that go out of their way to make your stay a most memorable one.
