Mel was very welcoming, superb breakfast and lovely accommodation and location

This is a beautiful house which is maintained in excellent condition and very comfortable. The Host was great and made us feel very welcome. She made a lovely cooked breakfast and could not do enough for us. The value was very reasonable too. All in all if we needed to stay in that area again then we would be very happy to book this hotel again.

there was nothing that we didn't like. We only had a one night stay, but could see that if we were there for a week it would not disappoint. No negative here.

very clean, well presented, and cosy. it was very easy to relax and Mel really goes the extra mile. I can see why it’s 5 stars. I’m definitely hoping to stay again. Especially when the breakfast is so amazing.

Capernwray House is a complete delight. A marvellous peaceful country location, yet not far from the M6 and Carnforth. Mel offers the warmest of welcomes upon arrival, with tea or coffee and sweet treats in the lounge. The rooms are decorated with impeccable taste and modern fixtures and finishes. The king bed was excellent. The included breakfast is elegant, varied and absolutely delicious. Our stay, quite simply, made us smile from start to finish.

Absolutely lovely B & B , in a great location.

It was very tidy and welcoming. We were a last minute booking and Mel made us a cuppa with an excellent cake on arrival which was quite late so much appreciated. Our bedroom was huge and the bathroom was spacious with everything we needed. Breakfast was just amazing!

Although a little dated for our taste this really isn’t a reason not to stay at this very well kept guest house..we all have different tastes 😀
