Floating Paradise

Stunning location and beautiful view every morning. Rama was lovely and helpful.

We organised a taxi pick up and they left without us so we had to make our own way there. We organised a taxi and the guy left said that the taxi driver had offered us a fair price but that was not true. When we got in the staff member who greeted us did not really help and we only saw him once one morning with a girl. When you pay a lot of money for accommodation you expect far better service. Rama did all the work and was friendly.

If I could give 1000🌟for this place I would. We spent here five amazing days. Beautiful bungalows with a balcony and view of the ocean where you can relax more than you can imagine. There is also a small chill zone where you can sit on a very comfortable pillow bags 😎 You can use their kayaks for free and go explore the beaches and corals around! Highly recommend it do it. You can also ask Tono (owner or the staff) to rent a scooter with you can go around the Island and explore it's beauty. You can eat here upon request or go to the town for nigh fish market as well. The staff Rama the cat Cora (she is part of the team) and especially Tono is an amazing people. We had a very nice long conversation with him in the late afternoons. Please note this place is for people who like to be on a remote and quiet place away from the people (no shops, no bar, etc.). The town is 15 min away by scooter so take it into consideration when booking this place. Be aware!!!!!!!! The more you stay the more you just do not want to leave... ❤️

Absolutely terrific place. Tono and his team are incredibly friendly and helpful and the accommodation is simply stunning.

The location is amazing, you’re surrounded by sea and nature and have the most amazing view. Tono and Rama are amazing hosts. We had a great breakfast every morning, they arranged a scooter and a boattrip for us and they were great to have around. The rooms are simple but very beautifull, we also got the chance to switch rooms so we had the full experience. Thanks again Tono!

As the name tells, this is absolute paradise. I am writing the review in my last morning in Floating Paradise and the last three days have been magical. The place is very calm, in the middle of nature (literally, it is you, your hut, the sea and jungle). The room opens into the sea and you fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the sea. It is for nature and adventure lovers. We were super lucky to even see plankton glowing in our last night. Rama and Tono have been amazing, and we highly recommend staying here for those looking for a unique experience in the middle of nature and away from everything.

The place was amazing, in the middle of the nature, you feel truly connected with it. Exiting the room in the night to take a hot cup of tea, surrounded by the sound of the sea is an incredible and relaxing sensation. Here you truly see aparted from the rest of the chaotic world, as waking up by the calming waves crashing right under your bed. Tono was also very friendly to help us organize all our tours, as well as providing a very good meal when asked (even if our request was late).

I would have preferred to know before that the place wasn't provided with hot water, wich would it be pleasant after a long day by the beach, but going to floating paradise and Karimunjawa means also going away from all our comfort, and Tono provides also wifi connection and electricity throughout all the day so it's something you can go on.

The hotel is located in an unbeatable setting. You feel in perfect harmony with nature. Tono is a wonderful person, he helped us in every possible way and made our stay unforgettable. One of the best people we have met in Indonesia. If you plan to visit Karimunjawa, Floating Paradise is the best place to stay.

Super nice views and amazing experience.

The owner (Tono) is super kind but careful, he's not your friend, but a businessman (i.e. He tried to sell us an island-hoping tour with and extra 40% surcharge, he added one extra day for the motorbike rent in the bill, he added a 50% surcharge of the official price of thee slow ferry.

The best place I've ever slept in! Tono has been very helpful with us, his nephew made delicious meals, the place is truly paradise.
