Where do we even start? Tono and Rama are amazing. They helped us with nearly everything on our vacation. Transportation, activities, scooter rental (sorry guys), food... It's just the small details, that make this place feel more and more like home. Floating Paradise is such an amazing place, we couldn't think of a better stay in Karimunjawa. Thank you soo much, we would love to come back again :))

Carm...and natulal.. very impresive

This place ist a absolutly beatiful, you can't describe it if you havent seen it. You hear nothing, only the waves, the wind and the boat's. When you want to relax this is the right place!! Tono ist great. When we had a question, Tono helped us. Hes totally chill and wants you to have the best time on the Island! When we come back to Karimunjawa we will also come back to floating paradise :)!! Thank you for the nice day's :)!

It truly was a floating Paradise! We loved every single minute of it. Nothing around you, cannot get more relaxing, crystal clear water, fish & coral reef as part of your view. The sound of the water under your feet … it was my husband’s birthday and I wanted something special for him, this was an amazing experience for both. Extremely clean, Bathroom was beautiful and comfortable! The host went far and beyond to help us short notice on the return ticket for the ferry, we will be always thankful for that 🙏.

It is located in a calm bay, where you can see (and swim in) bioluminiscent plankton some nights, which is wonderful. Also corals all around. It is quite remote, which we like. There are only two bungalows for rent (the other one was empty during our stay), so there is privacy and silence. The owner with his family lives in the third bungalow, where is also common (dining) area with wifi and water refill tank (and coffee for free, unfortunately not very good). We decided for two dinners there and it was tasty and plentiful. The bungalow is very simple, but nice, just a bed with mosquito net - real neccessity here and a fan on the ceiling. The owner arranged a privat boat trip for us, with awsome snorkeling and a visit to coral reef restoration facility on Sambangan island. Part of the the cost goes to this cause. There are basic kayaks to borrow and go explore nearby beaches (unfortunately expect lots of trash there), they also arrange a motorbike for you - also a neccessity to be able ever get out of there :) We didn't ask for helmets specifically so we didn't get any, so bear that in mind. Also to get (out of) there expect to pay fixed price of 150k for taxi.

Despite the price, don't expect a luxury. We didn't and prefered the simplicity, but some might get a false impression beforehand. Also during heavy rain there was a leakage through the roof in some places, including above the bed. Some people might also find the road there very difficult - the last part gets muddy or/and very narrow, it is just path not a road, nothing for beginners on motorbike. If you decide to have your dinners there, it is quiet pricey, but on the other hand, they have to transport everything there. For anything else you just have to take the road to the village.
