Our host, John was brilliant and very knowledgeable. The breakfast was fab and the location was perfect - we were able to park just around the corner and leave the car there for the whole of our stay. (John can sort you a temporary parking permit for £3 per day)

The property is very dated and could do with decorating throughout. The room was noisy - creaky floorboards, squeaky mattress, a bathroom door handle than screeched whenever you turned it! We also ran out of loo rolls and sanitary bags during our stay (someone had been in and straightened the bed and emptied the bins but didn't replenish the items we had used). Just minor inconveniences but things to be aware of.

John was a superb host, our room was very clean and comfortable. The location was superb for what we wanted, park the car and walk into town and not use the car until our return journey. Thank you very much for making us so welcome, very much appreciated and recommend. Kind regards, Tom and Jane.

The host was very friendly and gave us information of the town, the bedroom was lovely everything we needed comfortable bed. Lovely cooked breakfast with pot of tea.

The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable, gave us some great advice on where to visit and where to eat.
