GBGBVery lovely owners who assisted me with everything, including kindly taking extra time to thoroughly explain the layout to me (as I am visually impaired and travelled alone). I was very grateful for this. The room is homely and very clean, the bedding and towels are clean and fresh smelling, plus a selection of hot drinks provided. The shower is hot and works well (private bathroom). The bay window and high ceilings are lovely. I felt safe here as a lone disabled woman. I would definitely stay here again, it is well priced and it is only a short walk into town, feels airy and warm, and there's shops and eateries between the two.
The road was noisy from the front room/ ground level, but those lovely big single pane sash windows are totally worth it :-) and it is easily solved using earplugs. Perhaps more substantial pillows would be preferable.
