Sapo Karo Rest House

Very helpful and very friendly staff. Good food. Clean room.

Friendly people. Quiet room.

Basic bathroom and moderate breakfast, but then again, the room was not expensive.

We enjoyed 3 days at the Sapo Karo. Simple accommodation, attractive outside area where we could take a very good breakfast, a space to sit inside which was useful as our room was reasonably small. Lots of help with finding things to do, we had a lovely day out with Deni Irawan, who was a great guide.

Need transport to reach… walking from main road maybe need 10-15 mins going up hill

The location

Appalling breakfast with dirty and tired worn out fittings in bathroom.

The staff was very helpful with organisation of transport and activities and the rooms were clean. The city centre is just 10 minutes walk away.

The mosque singing woke us up every morning at 4.30 (of course this is not the host's fault).
