Ade the owner is very nice and accommodating. The hut is simple but nice with a clean squat toilet and bucket shower. They also have a restaurant nearby (only one within walking distance) where you can get nasi/mie goreng, your laundry done and rent scooters/ surfboards. Would stay again for the price :)

Note it’s very close to the local mosque and public sports facility and the thatch hit provides no block for noise. I’d recommend ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. If you come with this in mind then it should be an issue :)

The room is very clean and located at the heart of the village making for a great experience. Overall great value for money. Ade can arrange motorbike rental.

Make sure to bring a towel, only one was provided for us two. In our experience no breakfast was proposed so you might have to get breakfast elsewhere or think of getting food at a supermarket before arriving in the village.

you stay with a lovely local family and the room is basic but nice. The view from the second floor is amazing.

Cool little bungalow in amongst the local village. Perfect for a stop over.

The place is nowhere near where it says it is on the map. Spent over an hour looking for it luckily a friendly local eventually helped me.

We spend 5 chill days in the hut. Ade was always trying to help us where he can, showing us the best spots in the area and gave us the contact of a good board rental nearby. Our highlight was the kitchen we could use as well as the hammock on the roof. Thanks Mr. Sollo Sollo!

Ade is an awesome hoster. He helped us with everything during our stay. He showed us the region and told us the secrets spots about it. Kartasari people are amazing!!!

Good opportunity to experience the local village life outside of the fancy holiday resorts. Ade is a great host who is always happy to explain you anything about the culture or the surroundings. Very close to several great surfspots. Just be aware that the mosque is next door and will probably wake you up in the morning. You will also need a motorbike to get food. Nevertheless fully recommend the place.
