Ade was such an incredible host and went so over the normal expectations one would have for an Homestay! I felt looked after and welcomed in the community through Ade and his friends. Kertasari is a wonderful small village and Ade's neighborhood is amazing to truly be immersed in the culture of Kertasari. The seaweed plantations in front of the Homestay, the beautiful sea changing with the tides and Ade's heartwarming hospitality... An amazing experience!

Our stay at Sollo sollo was an experience we will never forget! Ade is one of the most humble genuine people you will ever meet. Not only will he go out of his way to make sure you are comfortable during your stay but will pride himself in showing you around kertasari. Whether it’s eating fresh fruit at his family farm, taking a fishing boat to secret snorkelling spots or hiking through the bush to the local waterfalls. He will ensure every day is filled with a once in a lifetime adventure! If you want to immerse yourself in the truely authentic side of Sumbawa there is no better place than at Sollo Sollo. really cute basic but comfortable bungalow with an amazing roof top terrace. the bathroom is really simple but enough and also a little kitchen is provided. the owner is trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. he took me on a mangrove and snorkeling tour, made dinner at his families place and took me to a local event during the night. had an amazing experience at this place :)

This is our best experience in Indonesia! Just for 10$ you have: - your totally private house with seaview - terrace and rooftop with hammocks, chair and table, where you can enjoy sunsets or sunrise. - kitchen with coffee and tea for free, refill water is free, you can cook you dish by yourself - private shower and toilet - 5 minutes drive, one of the best beaches, what we see in Indonesia, white sand and crystal blue water, where you can surf and snorkeling. Alone! - owner is super nice guy, he ready to help you with any questions. He speak fluent English. Just imagine, you can order food from Whatsapp and wait it on rooftop. - you don't need to go out, to find food, because family ready to make it for you, normal local price. We have grilled fish for dinner for 1,5$. We have breakfast, with omlets and pancakes for 2$. Food is delicious, best ever Ikan Bakar you must try! - house have fan inside, electricity is everywhere 1 and 2 floor, you can chill with laptop on rooftop, you have mosquito net, but it's not nessesary, no mosquito around. - super easy check in, owner text you in Whatsapp, before you arrive to this beautiful place and sent you Google maps location. - totally safe and quite - nice village with palm tree and few shops where you can buy everything

You need to understand that house is basic, but they have everything what you need. It's not fancy hotel with jacuzzi for 100$ per night. I read few reviews and people say that they don't like this or this. But you pay just 10$ and you need to see where and how owners family live, this is very poor people, you can help this family, this is such a nice people. We have great experience and I am super happy that I get it! Recommend for everybody stay minimum 3 nights, you enjoy nature, amazing beach, snorkeling, surfing, sunsets, local food, a lot of things to do. Basic house, push you to be outside and come back after sunset.

We had the most blissful stay at Sollo Sollo. Our host showed us incredible hospitality: he was warm, offered to tour us around the local area, and even made us sweet treats to enjoy! The place itself is beautiful; with stunning yet deserted beaches to explore, as well as mangrove forests and phenomenal spots from which to enjoy the sunset. We will be back again asap! :)

this was a very special place for an amazing local experience. it was sad that we could only stay for one day, but we really loved it here. you have you’re own little hut in the middle of the village, its super comfortable with a roof were you can chill and watch the fireflies at night. the area is beautifull to drive around. i would deff recommend staying here, you won’t regret. super clean also and good taking care of.

great area close the the beach and surrounded by mountains and nature. the bungalow had a terrace with 2 hammocks and a mat to relax or do yoga. the owner was amazing, very kind and helpful. highly recommended!!
