It was so dirty!! I had a room on the ground floor and maybe they haven’t finished renovating them after Covid but it was gross! The smell of mould, the sight of mould. I had to leave that’s how bad it was.

We booked this hotel through b*****g.com without great expectations as the rate is very cheap for hotels in Ubud with aircon. The owner emailed us personally checking if we need pick up etc, which feels attentive. They prepared us the best room with a balcony right overlooking the jungle with small river. We really love the nature feel where we can hear the sounds of birds, crickets, rooster and wind plays the trees and leaves. The room itself is quite spacious, the bed is quite comfy with mosquito net and an aircon. The bathroom is also spacious but a bit too dark (hope they add more lamps when we come back..), water pressure ok. As situated in a jungle, the room might feel a bit damp but not something disturbing. The owner lives next door where he provided free parking there (only for scooters). He and the housekeeping girl are nice and friendly. Laundry is just in front of the hotel. No breakfast provided but you can request the housekeeping girl a day before. My recommendation is Mama's Warung just 1 mins walking, really tasty (read my separate review)!! Tips: drive slowly when search the hotel as it is located inside a tiny narrow alley. Watch for its small nameplank.
Ideal for backpackers! Great location in the centre of ubud, our host was fantastic in providing us with all the information we needed for our stay, he organised excursions, and walked with me to hire a bike which was essential for our stay. Great wifi and good air con. Room felt like it hadn't been used for a while, and we cleaned the fridge before we used it, pictures on booking.com didn't match the room we stayed in. Over all very happy, felt like home for the 5 nights we stayed
